You all know how much i love free motion embroidery. Without this foot, it wouldn't be possible. It's the open toe design with the gap inbetween the clear plastic which i feel works better as you can see your work and cut any threads as you go. Free motion embroidery is a technique much like drawing just on a standard sewing machine.
 
I do offer a lesson on this technique which you are welcome to try before you purchase the foot for your own. 
 
It is compatible with janome, brother, toyota, most singers, you will need an adapter for bernina machines. If you are unsure please message me beforehand.
